Personal Data Protection (KVKK) Disclosure

This Personal Data Protection Disclosure has been prepared, within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "KVKK"), by KAYES OFİS MOBİLYA SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. (hereinafter referred to as "Kayes") in its capacity as data controller, in order to inform all relevant persons — including visitors to our website (https://www.kayesoffice.com), those who contact us and, in particular, our dealers — about the processing of their personal data.

Depending on the nature of your relationship with us, the following personal data may be processed:

  • Request / Message Information: The content of messages, requests and complaints you send via the contact form, e-mail or telephone.
  • Dealer Account Information (for our dealers): Company title, authorised person, address, tax/account information and dealer panel access details.
  • Transaction Security / Cookie Data: Limited data obtained automatically through cookies during your visit to our website (e.g. IP address, browsing information). Please see our Cookie Policy for details.

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

  • Responding to your requests, questions and complaints; carrying out communication activities,
  • Providing information about our products and services, planning and executing offer and sales processes,
  • Managing the commercial relationship and dealer panel services conducted with our dealers,
  • Fulfilling our contractual and legal obligations,
  • Ensuring the legal and commercial security of our company and the relevant persons.

4. Legal Grounds for Processing

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK; namely that processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, the fulfilment of our legal obligation, and our legitimate interests provided that they do not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms; and, where required, based on your explicit consent.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Limited to the purposes above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to legally authorised public institutions and organisations, to our suppliers and solution partners from whom we receive service/support/consultancy (e.g. accounting and IT/hosting services), and to persons and organisations permitted by the relevant legislation.

6. Method of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through our website, contact form, dealer panel, e-mail and telephone channels, by wholly or partly automated means or by non-automated means.

7. Retention and Destruction

Your personal data is retained for the period required by the purposes of processing and for the periods stipulated in the relevant legislation. When the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised ex officio or upon your request, in accordance with Article 7 of the KVKK and the relevant regulation.

8. Your Rights Under the KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose; know the third parties to whom it is transferred at home or abroad; request that it be corrected if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly; request that it be deleted or destroyed in accordance with the KVKK; request that these operations be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred; object to a result arising against you as a result of analysis solely by automated systems; and request compensation for damage you suffer due to unlawful processing.

Kayes reserves the right to make changes to this Disclosure in accordance with the legislation.
